A bad blogger with new hair.

I know I know I've been neglecting you again, i'm sorry. Still love me?

The whirlwind life (cough.) that I lead has been keeping me shockingly busy.

Trips to plan, exams to sit, a new job; the real world calls.

But I am back! (To let you know.. I can really shake 'em down..) And accompanied by a bob. Yes, that's right. A bob.

Ta-da! (Excuse the IG quality.)

Now to me my hair wasn't very long to begin with. But looking back at old photos, my hair was reaching my bra strap, and now - it just skims my shoulders.

It may be a big change to some, but for me the practicality has improved immensely.

I am also working on a few craft projects, cute fox cushions as well as a knitting project. (just a simple scarf) I am planning to take up crocheting also (as apparently this is easier than knitting. Hmm, a likely story..) and shall update you when I get onto that

Crafts, for me, are big skills to have. Whether it is sewing, knitting, cross stitch; the list is endless. I know that to some women, the idea of being able to sew is that original social stereotype of a woman, but find me one girl out there who doesn't regret sewing that button back on when she had the chance..

Anyway, the real world is calling again. Work; here I come.

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

A very, very quick post, and update, as I am currently pausing the packing for my New Years trip, to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and New Year.

In a previous post I briefly mentioned I had recently started a long distance relationship, well I am very chuffed to say I was invited to stay with him and his family over New Years, meaning I have a 6 day suitcase to pack (Sob.)

I shall go picture crazy while there, and give you all the gossip once I am soundly back in the dull Essex

Masquerade party & Long distance lovers.

This weekend has been a pretty eventful one for me! My lovely friend Nina celebrated her 18th birthday party, which was beautifully masquerade themed! it was a lovely party, had a good catch up with friends after not seeing them for a week (half term.) and gave us something to end the half term with a bang ready for college Monday (aka today. Boo.)

On another note, some of you may or may not remember a post i made about celebrating my two year anniversary in May this year. Well it is unfortunate for me to say the relationship ended a short time after that anniversary. I'm not clinging for sympathy, or going to divulge the details, but it gives a nice introduction to the remainder of this post. 

I do not know what your opinions or preferences are when it comes to dating but i would appreciate an open mind being taken towards this. 

Daniel and i have been talking for about a month, and an "item" for just under. (which i know to some may be incredibly fast, but if it didn't feel right, it wouldn't happen.) The unfortunate thing is that he lives about 7 hours away from me. Things are great at the moment and I am laughing and smiling and just being the happy bubbly me again. 

Does anyone have a cute romantic story they would wish to share? Or a personal experience of long distance relationships?

New favourite fall lipstick 2012

After doing my recent post about fall lipsticks i stumbled upon this beauty which has now become my favourite.
I have never really looked at the number 17 range in boots, but i was just browsing when i found this lovely off red lip shade.
I think its perfect for fall and winter and will suit most skin tones, it also goes well with the berry lips trend that is attacking the fashion world right now.

Hair update and FOTD

Hey guys!
So as you may see from the images below, i am now a purple headed (people eater) with far shorter hair than before. I was fed up with the same style, and have concluded that longer hair is hassle, and if i ever wish to go back there, i shall invest in clip-in extensions! Anyway, i thought i'd show you a quick update on my hair as well as my fotd!

My hair shall be going more purple at some point, when the plum fades a big.

MUA, you disappoint me. Gel eyeliner review

Firstly, i would like to beg your forgiveness for not posting in forever, but i have lacked inspiration so to speak. So fingers crossed you do not hate me too much..

Now! The review! I LOVE MUA products.. Usually. This one however, i died a little inside.
There i was in superdrug oggling the shelves as per usual, and thats when i saw it -cue heavenly music and beams of light- MUA HAS BROUGHT OUT A GEL EYELINER!! Now i know most of you probably know this, and i have owned it for quite a while but its been sitting there gaining dust as i think, this product is poop.

So better start with the good things before i rip this product to shreds. The consistency and the application is wonderful. Beautiful creamy gel, glides on smoothly, but it goes down hill from here.

Inside the lid you will find a brush - feed it to your dog.. NO DO NOT FEED IT TO YOUR DOG! But you get the idea. The brush is fiddly and useless, for me anyway. Then we get onto when its applied, now it sits beautifully but blink to hard and you get these awful flakes of product falling onto your cheek. Next it smudges like goodness knows what. Staying power my arse. Then of course if it smudges it does not last very well.

So it crumbles, smudges, the brush is poo, it doesn't last.

BOO YOU MUA!
